Principal's Message

Education in the general sense is the process of facilitating learning, and in the wider sense it is the process of acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, morals, beliefs, habits and more importantly the personal development with the help of proper method of teaching, training, discussion, facilitation with directed research. Technical Education is one of the fields of education which plays a vital role in generating human resource of the country by creating skilled manpower, enhancing industrial productivity, creating job opportunities through their innovative ideas etc. So, being the Principal of Lakhimpur Polytechnic, Bihpuria, Assam one of the Diploma Institution established in the year 2017, under SCTE (State Council for Technical Education, DTE, Govt. of Assam), my responsibility is to produce skilled manpower for nation building with the help of all highly qualified teaching staff. To establish a Technical Institution of its reputation is really a tough challenge. So, we all the staff of the Institution will have to take the challenges to establish itself as one of the best Technical Institution in the coming years. For this purpose, the students will have to maintain the discipline right from the beginning. They also should take the maximum opportunity from these teaching fraternity in their respective field. The management, the faculty and other supporting staff are trying their best with the limited resource for all round development of every student.
So, I heartily welcome all the students and thanks all the staff of Lakhimpur Polytechnic, Bihpuria to help the students excel in their respective field.
